Guidelines for contributing to John Kindschuh’s book of memories

You will be notified if your submission is selected to be included in the book by January 15, 2026

Briefly write your experience, keeping in mind that the average attention span for adults is only 8 seconds. Your story will be edited, and you may be contacted for more information to add impact to your story. Here are some points to consider in your content:

•         Why did you decide to help John and his family?

•         What impact did your service have on you? Were you changed, and if so, in what way?

•         What impact did John and his family’s experience have on the community?

•         What excited, surprised, saddened, brought joy, hope, or deepened your faith?

•         Did you see this experience impact the faith of others?

•         What did this inspire around you? Did someone believe in the power of God in a new way? How?

•         Do you have a suggestion about the title of the book? Let us know!

Remember, God is in the ordinary. For example, maybe washing dishes brought a new insight that changed the trajectory of your life…
